Every autumn the same question comes back: what is actually open in St Barts, and from when? This page is the dated answer for the 2026-2027 season. The island’s restaurateurs’ association publishes a table of its members’ reopening dates each year, and this is that table, matched against our restaurant directory and kept up to date as the dates firm up. Read it as a working list, not a promise. A date can slip by a few days, and a handful of names are still marked to be confirmed.

The first names open at the very start of October, the big wave comes between 15 and 29 October, and the last of the season’s doors open in the first days of November. If your trip falls in the second half of October, this is the table to read against your dates.

Open through the low season

Ten tables were already trading when the table was drawn up at the start of October: Burger Palace, Cre’Age, L’Esprit, La Pizzetta, Le Grain de Sel, Le Papillon Ivre, Le Repaire, Le Select, Lucali and Mapo. It matches what we see from the island: these are the local tables that feed residents all year, the ones our guide to what stays open in the low season describes.

Still to be confirmed

Two names carry no firm date yet. Le Piment in St Jean is expected around mid-October. Loulou, the new address on Shell Beach in the hands of the Barrière group, says November. Zuma, new to Gustavia, has given a firm date, 25 November, and sits in the table above. We will date the other two here as soon as they are confirmed.

What the hotels are doing

The hotel tables follow the hotels. Cheval Blanc and Le Barthélemy reopen theirs on 22 October, Le Christopher on the 23rd, and Le Guanahani returns on 1 November under its new name, Airelles Le Guanahani. The beach clubs keep the same rhythm: Nikki Beach on 23 October, La Guérite Plage on the 24th, and La Guérite in Gustavia on 4 November. For the hotels themselves, our hotels directory lists every address by area, and the where to stay guide explains what each neighborhood is like.

How to use this list

Confirm each table a few days before you go, because dates slip. Weekly closing days are not on this table and vary from one house to the next. Not every restaurant on the island is a member of the association, so an address missing here is not closed, it is simply not listed, and the directory covers them all. And villas rent all year, so in October the open question is never the base, it is the tables.
