Who we are
saint-barth.org is an independent travel guide to Saint-Barthélemy. This policy explains how the website handles information about its visitors.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible.
- Usage data. Like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to understand general traffic.
- Analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to see which guides are useful. It measures aggregate trends, not individuals.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information. Any booking you make happens on a partner's own website.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies sparingly, for basic site function and analytics. When you follow an affiliate link, our partners may also set their own cookies so a booking can be credited to us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Third parties
Some services run by other companies are involved when you use this site: our hosting provider, our analytics provider, and the affiliate partners whose links appear in our guides. When you follow a link to a partner, their own privacy policy applies. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information a website holds about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us.
