Why this guide exists

When you start planning a trip to St Barth, you find two kinds of website. Official tourism pages that are long on atmosphere and short on specifics. And the sites of villa agencies and hotels, which are useful but ultimately built to sell you their own rooms.

What is missing is the guide in between, the one that tells you how the island works. Which beach suits your morning. Whether you need a car (you do). What a week here really costs. saint-barth.org is built to be that guide.

We are independent

We are not a villa rental agency, a hotel, or a concierge service. No business can pay to appear in our guides or to receive a good write-up. When we recommend something, it is because we would send a friend there.

We keep it current

St Barth changes between seasons. Restaurants open and close, prices move, and access changes. We revisit and update our guides from the island itself, and we date every one so you know how fresh it is. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
